Thirteen years after the Rusin Garden was dedicated, a bust of Father Alexander Duchovich was placed on a pedestal in the lower garden. It is said that some of the money collected at the 1939 event helped to pay for this bust.

Frank Jirouch was responsible for many of the bronze busts in many of the early gardens. The Czech garden boasts the largest collection of his work.
